1)    To be highly customer focused and therefore deliver the highest standard of customer care by making all visitors feel welcome to the sport facilities.
2)    Ensuring the safety of customers and colleagues by keeping all areas hazard free, by maintaining safe working procedures and practices, carrying out regular spot checks, keeping up to date records and taking appropriate action where required to minimise risks. Reporting incidents and accidents in accordance with the service operating procedures.
3)    Ensure all clubs and organisations using the facility are welcomed and stick to the terms and conditions of their bookings. Liaison with the bookings team and the maintenance team in terms of customer’s feedback and service satisfaction.
4)    Ensure the facilities are opened on time and locked securely when not in use, that regular building checks take place, that CCTV is operational, anti-social behaviour is avoided and dealt with and reported.
5)    Contribute to the maintenance and upkeep of the facilities both internally and externally where necessary. Refuse is collected and disposed regularly and properly. Conduct inspections and reporting of any maintenance of the building or equipment that is required whilst also ensuring that the grounds are presentable and free of litter, debris, weeds etc.
6)    Ensure that the entire building is presentable, comfortable and clean for customers through the delivery of reactive, daily, weekly and periodical cleaning schedules.
7)    Identify opportunities for development of the centre by seeking customer’s feedback, liaising with user groups and wider park users and stakeholder groups, including identifying gaps in the programme of activities.
8)    To promote the importance of physical activity and its benefits to people’s health.
9)    Increasing and maximising the income generated by the facilities through positive communication, carrying out local promotions or marketing that encourages the community to use the centre, identify gaps in the programme and find potential users to fill them.
10)   Positively contribute to the sport facilities team by working constructively and coherently together to present an excellent facility that enhances the reputation of the council.
11)   Support the delivery of on site sports and physical activities or events as and when the programme requires and permits
