MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
To work as part of a dedicated team to deliver the Emergency Planning and Business Continuity function of the council.
You will operate as part of the daily operational and business needs of the team with responsibility for carrying out your role within a sphere that involves new ways of proactively working. You will identify and implement solutions to challenges and be responsible for designing and delivering service improvements by establishing plans and targets to address issues within your remit.
Understand risk and complex technical/regulatory matters affecting the organisation in a specialist area, their implication for wider political and operational management and translating identified issues into longer term service strategies, policies and objectives.
You will be required to come into the Slough office 2 to 3 days a week
